Wildlife Photography Exhibition at Clumber Park

Clumber Park is a popular destination for people to enjoy a walk, go cycling, horse riding or just to meet with friends. As a natural habitat area it is however also important from a wildlife perspective.

Wildlife photographer Barbara Meyer has monitored with the aid of trail cameras wildlife in Clumber Park over the past 18 months. Her exhibition at the Discovery Centre at Clumber Park will share some of the trail camera images from Barbara's survey as well as some of her British wildlife photography.

Photography Experiences 2018

The main part of our photography experience programme for 2018 has been agreed and published. In 2018 we will offer a wide range of photo days, photography workshops and courses at zoos and wildlife parks and also in natural habitat areas. The programme will provide our customers with the opportunity to have special access when taking photos of big and smaller wild cats, to get help and advice while taking photos of big cats and other wildlife and/or to learn more in-depth about wildlife photography, including technical aspects and how to approach taking photos of animals.

We will continue to offer a variety of photography experiences for small groups at Colchester Zoo, the Cat Survival Trust and the Rutland Falconry & Owl Centre. In 2013 we will continue to offer our talks on Big Cats, wildlife conservation and wildlife photography at venues of our customers. We will start however from April 2013 onwards to provide our talks also at the Cat Survival Trust. Here our customers will not only learn about the chosen subject, but also about the work of the trust and their cats, which you will be able to meet.
